People wanting to visit Tapnell Farm Park can now do so with more flexibility - thanks to a new bus timetable that has been extended beyond the summer.

Operating between Newport and Yarmouth and stopping at Tapnell Farm, the number 27 open-top Breezer bus, provides a travel option for local families and visitors, who can also enjoy the spectacular scenery the Island has to offer whilst taking the journey.

Southern Vectis is now operating a new extended, daily timetable for the number 27 bus route from now until Saturday 25 September.

Tom Honeyman-Brown of Tapnell Farm said:

“This is great news for us and our visitors and we’re grateful to Southern Vectis for their continued support. All our attractions at Tapnell– that’s the Farm Park, Aqua Park, Archery, Axe Throwing and The Cow Restaurant, are now fully open again, and this new timetable
provides flexibility for visitors to fully appreciate all we have to offer onsite and enjoy a day out.”

Richard Tyldsley, General Manager, Southern Vectis, added:

“Tapnell Farm has long been a hugely popular tourist attraction on the Island. We introduced our bus service here, in response to high demand from local families and visitors who either don’t have a car or who prefer to relax and leave their cars at home.

"After an incredibly difficult year for us all, we want to help those living on and those visiting the island enjoy this wonderful attraction. So, following the government’s latest announcement, we’re thrilled to be enhancing Route number 27 with our popular open top buses, which will each provide a very scenic journey to-and-from Tapnell Farm, making the experience a much-anticipated great day out for the family.”
