Mountbatten Hospice Welcomes Back Popular Band At Charitie's Concert Series

Mountbatten will welcome back the popular folk-rock band, Lucid, at the latest edition of the charity’s concert series next month (October).

The locally renowned four-piece will bring their stunning vocals and rich melodies to Mountbatten Hospice in Halberry Lane on Thursday (4).

Concertgoers will enjoy finely crafted songs reflecting the diverse musical influences of pianist Blue Brown, guitarist Sunny Brown, bass player Ollie Ducie, and violin player Nik Potts.

 Ollie said:

“We are really pleased to be returning to Mountbatten. We are excited to bring our usual mix of originals and classy covers.

“Mountbatten is a cause we have supported for a long time, and to be part of their concert series again means a lot to all of us.”

Nigel Hartley, Mountbatten’s Chief Executive, added:

“Our concert series grows in popularity, and it is so good to welcome our community back to Mountbatten to enjoy these special events. Lucid are such a great local talent; it is sure to be a wonderful evening.”

Tickets, costing £10 per person, need to be bought in advance via An Evening with Lucid | Mountbatten Isle of Wight.

Anyone unable to book online can call Mountbatten on 529511 for assistance.

Mountbatten has implemented several COVID measures for the concert series, including spaced seating, meaning numbers are restricted.

The show starts at 7.30pm, and wine and canapes will be served during the interval.
