Last Call For Artists To Submit Ideas For Quay Arts' 'Off The Rails' Exhibition

Quay Arts Centre

Islanders have until Sunday to put forward their ideas - if they would like to be considered for the OFF THE RAILS exhibition - which takes place in January next year.

The event at the Quay Arts Centre in Newport marks the 50th anniversary of the Isle of Wight Steam Railway moving from Newport to its current home in Havenstreet.

One artist will also be chosen to hold a future solo exhibition in Quay Arts’ Clayden Gallery.

The artist will also receive free, one to one support from the team at Quay Arts - who will help develop their ideas and improve their exhibition.

The Isle of Wight Steam Railway is also offering a year’s free membership to the winning artist.

If you are interested in applying you’re asked to send one page of information including images, film and audio clips of the work you would like to showcase by midnight on Sunday.

You can email your proposal and ideas to [email protected]
