Isle Of Wight Elections: All You Need To Know Ahead Of Count

Polling stations across the Isle of Wight have now closed - and votes are set to be tallied throughout the day.

Counting for the Isle of Wight Council elections gets underway later today.

Results will be announced at Medina Leisure Centre, Newport, as and when they come in.

Due to COVID-19, counts for all elections will not take place overnight this year.

Town and Parish Council results will be revealed tomorrow (8) after votes are counted.

Meanwhile, the Police and Crime Commissioner results will be announced in Southampton, by Mark Heath the Police Area Returning Officer.

The counts are not open to the public.
