FunFest Day To Raise Money For MIND

A special fundraiser is happening on the Island later this month (August) to raise money for charity.

The organisers of FunFest are hoping to make the day a success, while raising money for the mental health charity, MIND.

The event will feature live music, fire breathing, parrots, raffles, wrestling demonstrations, a bouncy castle with a 70ft assault obstacle course and modified cars.

It's also hoped the day will be live streamed online.

FunFest is happening at Smallbrook Stadium, Ryde on August 21 from 12-6pm.

Organisers, Sophie and Liam, said:

"We are doing this off our own backs and we have put a lot of time and money into organising the event to make it as big as we can.

"We want to raise as much as possible for MIND, because we believe the Island needs better mental health services and we want to try to make a difference to the support people get."
