Emergency Services Called To 'Concern For Welfare' In Niton

A 'concern for welfare' report in the South Wight has prompted a call-out for emergency service teams today (Tuesday).

Hampshire Constabulary says officers are making enquiries this afternoon.

Police are concerned for the welfare of a man in his 60.

 

It is understood a search is focused on the Niton area of the Island.

Wight Search and Rescue (WightSAR) volunteers have also been called to assist police.
