The news comes as the Government introduces its new 'rule of six' today (Monday).

As Isle of Wight Radio previously reported, people face fines of up to £3,200 if they do not abide by the new measure which aims to curb an increase in COVID-19 cases.

On the Island, a pupil at an Isle of Wight primary school has tested positive for coronavirus.
