Vulpro Community Day To Take Place At Robin Hill

Families and the local community are being invited to a special conservation event at Robin Hill Adventure Park next month.

The Vulpro Community Day is being organised by The Falconry Experience in aid of Vulpro, a charity working to protect Africa’s vultures.

It takes place on Saturday 17 October from 11am, with entertainment including two bird demonstrations, fly-a-bird sessions and ferret walking.

There will also be bouncy castles, a fun fair, face painting, stalls, food vendors and an all-day car boot sale.

The bar will open at 1pm for ‘Conservation on Tap’, while a raffle will include a range of prizes, with £500 in cash up for grabs.

Vulpro founder Keri will be flying in from Africa to speak about the threats facing the continent’s vultures and the charity’s conservation work.

Footage showing some of the challenges faced by the birds will also be shown during the event.

Entry costs £8 per person, with under-14s admitted free.

Tickets include access to Robin Hill Adventure Park and its unmanned attractions.

A separate park ticket is needed for the manned attractions.
