Voting has officially opened for the 2026 Red Funnel Isle of Wight Awards, celebrating the Island’s best tourism, hospitality and leisure businesses.

Organised by Red Funnel, the annual awards recognise the people and businesses that help shape the Isle of Wight’s visitor experience — from cafés and pubs to attractions, accommodation providers and events.

Island residents and visitors are now being invited to cast their votes across 19 award categories covering food and drink, places to stay and things to do.

Public voting will remain open until 1st September, after which the highest-rated entries will be reviewed by an independent judging panel, with Gold, Silver and Bronze winners announced later this year.

A total of 155 businesses have entered this year’s awards across 195 submissions, including 40 first-time entrants.

Newcomers include The Osborne Hotel, Lagom Coffee, The Blue Door Café, The Wight Mouse Inn, Isle of Wight Garlic Festival and Butterfly World.

The popular “Isle of Woof” award also returns for 2026, recognising businesses that provide a particularly warm welcome for dog owners and their pets.

Meanwhile, nominations are also open for the “Island Tourism Hero” award, which celebrates individuals or groups who go above and beyond to support the Island’s tourism industry.

Fran Collins said the awards are designed to celebrate the people behind the businesses and experiences that make the Isle of Wight special.

Winners will be revealed at an awards ceremony on the Island in November.

Votes and nominations can be submitted online via Red Funnel Isle of Wight Awards and Island Tourism Hero nominations.
