Passengers are being warned of disruption to Island Line services this Sunday (15 February) due to emergency repair work on overhead power lines in Brading.
Energy firm SSEÂ will be carrying out urgent maintenance above the railway, affecting services operated by Island Line.
From 6.37am, trains will run hourly between Ryde St John’s Road and Ryde Pier Head only.
The first service between Ryde Pier Head and Shanklin is expected to run at 1.26pm.
To help customers complete their journeys, rail tickets will be accepted on Southern Vectis routes 2 and 3.
A minibus service will also operate between Ryde St John’s Road and the Isle of Wight Steam Railway.
Passengers are being advised to allow extra time when travelling, as roadworks in the Brading area could impact onward journeys.
Travellers are encouraged to check before setting off and plan ahead where possible.
