Three candidates are standing in Bembridge as voters prepare to elect a new Isle of Wight councillor.


The seat is being vacated by Joe Robertson MP, with candidates including Rowena Crichton-Stuart (Reform UK), Warren Drew (Conservatives) and Mark Rochell (Liberal Democrats).


Rowena Crichton-Stuart (Reform UK)


Rowena Crichton-Stuart says she has been engaging with residents and highlights key Island issues such as roads, sewage, healthcare and ferry services.


She says she is motivated by a strong sense of right and wrong.


Warren Drew (Local Conservatives)


Warren Drew is a former journalist turned lawyer who has been involved in local campaigns and legal work.


He highlights his role in opposing developments and supporting transport improvements.


Mark Rochell (Liberal Democrats)


Mark Rochell, currently a parish clerk, points to his experience in local government and finance.


He says he aims to bring improvements at county level and strengthen representation for Bembridge.
