Theatretrain Bringing ‘Kinky Boots’ To Shanklin This Weekend

Theatretrain Isle of Wight will present its senior cast production of the smash-hit musical Kinky Boots over two days (Saturday and Sunday November 29 and 30).

With music and lyrics by Cyndi Lauper and a book by Broadway legend Harvey Fierstein, Kinky Boots has won every major Best Musical award, including the Tony, Grammy, and Olivier Awards.

The show follows Charlie Price, who’s trying to save his family’s struggling shoe factory, and Lola, a larger-than-life performer with a bold idea.

Together, they prove that “you change the world when you change your mind,” taking audiences from Northampton to the glamorous catwalks of Milan.

Theatretrain’s senior cast promises an electric performance filled with show-stopping dance numbers, heartfelt ballads, and plenty of sparkle to light up Shanklin’s stage.
