Temperatures To Soar Above 30°C On Isle Of Wight Today

The Isle of Wight is set for another hot and sunny day tomorrow (Friday) with temperatures forecast to climb above 30°C in some areas.

Long spells of sunshine are expected across the Island, with just a few patches of cloud developing at times.

Temperatures will reach 21-23°C along windward coasts, while most inland areas are expected to see highs of 27-29°C.

The warmest spots across the west and north of the Island could reach 30-31°C.

Winds will be light from the east-northeast during the morning before strengthening through the afternoon, becoming easterly at 11-20mph.

With another spell of very warm weather forecast, people are being encouraged to stay hydrated, seek shade during the hottest part of the day and check on anyone who may be more vulnerable to the heat.
