Teen Detained After Alleged Stabbing And Burglary In Sandown

A 14 year old male has been detained by officers on the Isle of Wight after a reported stabbing and burglary at a popular seaside cafe.

Officers confirmed that two males are alleged to have entered Browns on Culver Parade early yesterday morning (Wednesday), before making off with goods.

It's reported that an altercation then broke out between three males, during which a man in his 40s suffered a puncture wound.

Enquiries into the incidents are ongoing, with the suspect arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent and burglary.
