'Stay Away' Warning After Large West Wight Landslip

Islanders are being urged to stay away from the site of a large landslip in the West Wight, after heavy rain caused cracks to form and earth to move in Atherfield.

The Isle of Wight Council's Rights of Way team confirmed that they're monitoring the coastal path between Whale Chine and Grange Chine after a large mass of earth fell to the beach below.

It's understood that cracks first appeared at the site early last week.
