Festival-goers heading to this year’s Isle of Wight Festival are being encouraged to visit St Catherine’s School’s charity stall on Penny Lane, where a range of family-friendly activities and refreshments will be on offer to raise money for the local charity.

The team will be selling snacks and cold drinks throughout the event, alongside face painting, festival glitter and fancy hair styling to help visitors get into the festival spirit.

A traditional Hook-a-Duck game will also be available, with organisers hoping to provide plenty of entertainment for children and families attending the popular music festival.

Affordable snack boxes aimed at younger visitors will be on sale, while chilled soft drinks will be available to help festival-goers stay refreshed.

All money raised will support St Catherine’s School, which provides specialist education for children and young people with speech, language and communication needs on the Isle of Wight.

A spokesperson for the school said: “We’re excited to be part of the Isle of Wight Festival once again and look forward to welcoming visitors to our stall.

“Whether you’re looking for a snack, a festival makeover, or a fun game, we’d love to see you. By supporting our stall, you’re helping a small local charity with a very big heart continue its vital work for children and young people across the Island.”

The stall will be open throughout the festival on Penny Lane.
