Islanders are being asked to dig deep to raise money for the Isle of Wight Youth Trust and St Mary's Children's Ward at an epic DJ event on Good Friday (April 18).
DJ Jamroki - aka talented 16 year-old Jamie Robinson - will perform a 1,000 minute DJ set at Ryde's Department, and is looking for 1,000 sponsors to help raise £10,000 via this link.
Funds will also be used to help support Department's programmes for young people with a creative and arts focus.
Jamie said:
"I played my first big festival when I was 12 years old, and recently had this idea to do a 1,000 minute mix to get 1,000 sponsors and raise £10,000.
"Please join me in raising much needed support for young people on the Island, come along and support at Department Ryde on Friday from 10am onwards!"
