Local people and visitors wishing to travel around the Isle of Wight’s spectacular coastline can enjoy an exciting new Breezer bus service this summer.

Southern Vectis is introducing its brand new Sea Breezer service - between Ryde, Canoe Lake, Puckpool Park and Seaview - from Saturday 24 May.

“We’re very excited to be revealing our exciting new Sea Breezer service - which will run eight round trips each day from this Saturday,” said Southern Vectis general manager, Richard Tyldsley.
“This new service, which will mostly be operated using our open top buses, is the result of a recent review of our offering here.
"We’ve listened to what our customers have told us they would like, in terms of bus services during the summer across the Isle of Wight, and we think they will be impressed by the all new Sea Breezer.
“These buses also have full on-board commentary of the history of the area.
“We are blessed with truly wonderful coastline here, and are expecting an exceptional number of visitors to the island for the summer season.
“The team here at Southern Vectis is looking forward to showing off the incredible views along this route, and we can’t wait to welcome our customers on-board.”

The Sea Breezer does not qualify for the Government’s £3 fare cap Help for Households initiative. Fares for the roundtrip, if passengers don’t wish to hop on-and-off, are:

Adult £4.10

Young adult £3.40

Child £2.80

Southern Vectis’ Rover+ Breezer 24 hour tickets are also valid for this service - for those who do wish to hop on-and-off.
