Road Closed In Newport After Car Hits Parked Van

Part of Caesars Road in Newport was closed this morning (Tuesday) following a crash involving a car and a parked van.

Police were called just before 10am after reports a vehicle had collided with another along the narrow road.

Closures were put in place at the junctions with Drill Hall Road and Victoria Recreation Ground Road while officers dealt with the incident.

A red Suzuki Celerio was involved in a collision with a white Vauxhall Vivaro.

No injuries have been reported.
