Power Cut Hits Hundreds Of Isle Of Wight Properties

Hundreds of properties across the Isle of Wight are without power following an outage affecting the PO30 area.

Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks says around 778 properties are affected, across 65 postcodes.

The outage includes St Cross Business Park, where a number of businesses are based.

St Mary's Hospital is also thought to have been affected.

The power cut was first reported at around 3.55pm.

SSEN says engineers have arrived in the area and are working to restore supplies.
