Portsmouth Comic Con Returns With Nerf Arena And Bestselling Authors

Portsmouth Comic Con is back at Portsmouth Guildhall on Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 May 2026, promising a weekend of family-friendly fun.

New for 2026 is the Nerf Arena, where visitors of all ages can gear up for Nerf battles – included in the event ticket.

The Bookish Block is also expanding, with bestselling authors Maggie Stiefvater (The Raven Cycle) and Eliza Raine (Flame Cursed Fae series) joining previously announced Juno Dawson.

Other guests include TV stars Tom Rosenthal and Anita Dobson, along with comic artists Lucy Sullivan, Mike Dowling, and Chris Wildgoose appearing in Artist Alley.

The event features cosplay parades, panels, workshops, gaming zones, and one of the largest selections of comics, collectibles, and merchandise in the region.

Portsmouth Comic Con attracted over 8,000 visitors in 2025 and is widely regarded as a highlight of the comic con calendar.

Early Bird tickets are on sale until the end of February.
