Police Investigate Assaults In Shanklin

Police have confirmed they are investigating after two people were assaulted at a property on Landguard Road, Shanklin.

Officers were called to the address at around 2.17pm on Monday (22 September). Thankfully, no one was seriously injured.

A 48-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm but has since been released without charge.

Meanwhile, a 25-year-old man was also arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

He has been released on police bail until 22 December while enquiries continue.
