Police Appeal After Teenager Injured In Sandown Hit-And-Run

Police are appealing for witnesses after a car failed to stop following a collision with a 14-year-old girl in Sandown.
The incident happened on Sunday 7 December, between 7.20pm and 7.35pm, on Broadway near The Heights leisure centre.
The teenager suffered cuts to her head and chin.
Police say the vehicle involved did not remain at the scene, and at this stage there is no description of the car.
Officers are now urging anyone who saw what happened, knows anything about the vehicle or the driver, or has any relevant information to come forward.
Police are particularly keen to hear from anyone who may have been driving in the area at the time and witnessed the collision, or who might have dashcam footage.
