From April, Islanders will be able to access independent housing advice from a qualified solicitor through local charity Pan Together.

The charity, which already provides a five-day-a-week money and debt management service, says housing issues are a common concern among residents.

Chair of Trustees Mary Craven said:

“We’re very pleased to expand our support to the whole Island.
"This is a much-needed service and complements everything we aim to achieve for the local community.”

Pan Together is based at Downside Community Centre, Furrlongs, Newport, half a mile from the town centre, next to Barton Primary School, and on the No. 8 bus route.

There is on-site parking available. Residents can call in or book an appointment at 248170 or 248171.

The charity has been supporting the community for 19 years and was awarded the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service in 2022.

It operates with a small staff team, volunteers, and a dedicated board of trustees.
