New G4 Mountbatten Song Celebrates Iconic Walk The Wight Event

A brand new song, celebrating Mountbatten Isle of Wight’s iconic fundraising event, Walk the Wight, is released today (Tuesday, 6 May, 2025).

Written by the hospice charity’s music ambassador, Mike Christie, from the multi-platinum selling quartet, G4, Walk the Wight With You, features a host of guest performances, including from the Isle of Wight Cantata Choir, Mountbatten Isle of Wight’s choir and Mountbatten CEO and pianist, Nigel Hartley.

The song helps celebrate the 35th anniversary of Walk the Wight, which takes place on Sunday, 11 May.

It is £15  per person, until 9am on 8 May. Registration on the day is at a minimum suggested donation of £20.
