Ryde is set to get a new banking hub.

The hub, delivered by Cash Access UK, will offer a shared banking space similar to a traditional branch but open to customers of all banks.

Staffed by Post Office employees, the hub will allow people to withdraw and deposit cash, pay bills, and carry out everyday banking transactions.

Private consultation rooms will also be available for meetings with community bankers from your own bank for more complex matters.

Banks will rotate staff on different days, giving residents access to expertise from multiple providers in one location.

Ryde will become the second hub on the Isle of Wight, joining the existing facility in East Cowes.

Chris Ashton, Chief Commercial Officer at LINK, said:

“While more people are switching to digital banking, many still rely on cash. That’s why we’re delighted to recommend Ryde as one of 11 new hubs today.”
