Multiple Wightlink Sailings Cancelled On Monday Morning

Wightlink has announced a series of cancellations to its Monday morning car ferry services due to a mechanical issue on board the St Clare.

The suspended crossings include the 06:00, 08:00, 10:00 and 12:00 sailings from Portsmouth, along with the 07:00, 09:00, 11:00 and 13:00 departs from Fishbourne today (1 December).

A Wightlink spokesperson said the decision was essential to give engineers time to carry out repairs and return the vessel to service safely.

The statement added:

“We’ll keep you updated throughout tomorrow morning and again, we apologise sincerely for any changes to your travel plans.”
