Mountbatten Walk The Wight 2026 Sign-Ups Launch With Goodie Bag Challenge

Walk the Wight will return this Spring, and Mountbatten Isle of Wight is celebrating the launch of this year’s iconic event with a special goodie bag challenge for ten participants.

Sponsored by the Isle of Wight Festival and Red Funnel, Walk the Wight 2026 will take place on Sunday 10 May. From Monday 26 January, walkers can sign up to take part via mountbatten.org.uk/walkthewight2026.

To mark the start of sign-ups, Mountbatten’s fundraising team has set a challenge for the first ten walkers to find them at a secret location along the Walk the Wight route.

Ashleigh and Megan from the team will be waiting at one of the event’s check points on Monday 26 January, between 3.30pm and 4.30pm.

Clues to their exact location will be shared on Mountbatten Isle of Wight’s Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn pages on the day.

Walkers who find the team can sign up on the spot and receive a goodie bag, while those who miss out can still pick up a free water bottle.
