Man In 40s Arrested On Suspicion Of Arson Following Ryde Shed Fire

A man in his 40s has been arrested on suspicion of arson following an incident in Ryde at the weekend.

Police were called at 1.19am in the early hours of yesterday (Sunday) by the fire service, reporting a shed fire in Ashey Road, Ryde.

As part of enquiries, a 45-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of arson.

He has been bailed with conditions until 27 October.

Enquiries remain ongoing to establish the circumstances surrounding the fire.
