Man Arrested After Pushing Cyclist In Her 60s Over Culver Parade Sea Wall

A man remains in police custody after an incident which saw a woman in her 60s badly injured.

Police were called a 3.10pm yesterday (Tuesday) after a woman was assaulted on Culver Parade, Sandown.

It was reported that the woman was on a bicycle and was pushed off the sea wall.

The woman, aged in her 60s, was taken to hospital for treatment.

A 38-year-old man from Ryde has been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent and is currently in police custody.
