Have you ever dreamed of owning a toilet that’s truly a work of art?
Now’s your chance — and you’ll be helping a great cause at the same time.
Four unique, artist-decorated toilets, part of the bowel cancer awareness campaign “Your Loo Could Save You”, are going up for auction to raise funds for Mountbatten Hospice.
These one-of-a-kind loos have appeared across the Island — from their own ‘Loovre’ exhibition at Quay Arts, to DepARTment in Ryde, and most recently at Independent Arts in Newport.
The campaign has been designed to get people talking about bowel cancer, spot symptoms early, and contact their GP if needed.
Key symptoms to watch out for include:
Blood in your poo or bleeding from your bottom
Changes in bowel habits
Unexplained fatigue or weight loss
Frequent tummy pain or lumps
Shortness of breath
As the campaign wraps up next month, One Wight Health — the Island’s GP federation — is giving people the chance to own a toilet that’s as bold as it is beautiful.
Whether you fancy a garden planter for your petunias, a new bathroom centerpiece, or simply a loo that will get all your visitors talking, this is your moment.
Bids close at 12 noon on Monday 29 September.
To submit a bid, email contact@onewighthealth.co.uk with your name, phone number, bid amount, and preferred toilet choice.
Bidding is open to anyone 18 and over.
Highest bids will be contacted to arrange collection.
Please note: installation of the toilet is the responsibility of the successful bidder.
Don’t miss out — flush with creativity, support a good cause, and take home your very own artistic throne!
