It’s the last chance to share the love to your favourite Isle of Wight businesses, ahead of Red Funnel’s annual Isle of Wight Awards, which celebrates the rich diversity of local businesses across the Island.
The highly anticipated annual event recognises a wide spectrum of businesses ranging from those which have been part of the Island’s fabric for decades, to exciting newcomers bringing fresh talent to the scene.
Awards are issued across 19 unique categories, each falling under one of three main pillars: Places to Eat, Places to Stay and Things to Do. From celebrating the Island’s finest burgers and roast dinners to showcasing its most loved campsites, activities and attractions, there is a category for every standout experience the Isle of Wight has to offer.
Voting closes at midnight this Sunday, (31st August). The top three businesses with the most votes in each category will be invited to attend an official awards ceremony later this year, where they will find out if they have won a gold, silver or bronze award.
This year’s awards ceremony will also see the return of two recently added awards; the Isle of Woof Award, celebrating those who go above and beyond for both owners and their dogs, as well as the Island Tourism Hero Award, which recognises a standout individual who has notably contributed to Isle of Wight Tourism within the last 12 months.
