Quay Arts will be filled with live music this weekend as Kashmir Fringe returns on Saturday and Sunday (7 and 8 February).

The two-day event will feature free live performances across three stages, showcasing more than 45 local and regional artists inside the Quay Arts building in Newport.

Kashmir Fringe is inspired by the much-loved Kashmir Café tent at the Isle of Wight Festival, which has been run by Island volunteers for more than a decade, with all profits supporting Quay Arts, the Island’s charitable arts centre.

Alongside the music, visitors can enjoy festival food favourites and locally sourced ales, including Island-brewed real ale and Quay Arts’ own Amber Ale.

Quay Arts Centre Manager Del Seymour said the festival, relaunched in 2025 after a post-lockdown hiatus, proved hugely popular and will also kickstart celebrations for the venue’s 50th anniversary year.

All acts are performing for free to help raise funds for Quay Arts (Steve Ross Foundation for the Arts).

Kashmir Fringe 2026 takes place at Quay Arts, Sea Street, Newport, with no tickets required.
