Isle Of Wight Staff Recognised At NHS Healthcare Heroes Awards

Healthcare staff from the Isle of Wight have been recognised at the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust's annual Healthcare Heroes Awards.
The awards, held at the Leonardo Grand Harbour Hotel in Southampton as part of the NHS's 78th anniversary celebrations, recognised staff and teams who have made an outstanding contribution to patient care across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.
Among the winners was Mark Langford, Senior Peer Support Worker at Sandham House on the Isle of Wight, who received the Annual CARE Award.
Roxy James, a Healthcare Assistant with Community Nursing South on the Isle of Wight, was also recognised after winning the Rising Star Award.
Trust Chair Neil Hayward said the awards celebrate colleagues who demonstrate the Trust's CARE values of compassion, accountability, respect and excellence.
He said they recognise staff at every stage of their careers, from those just starting in the NHS to those who have dedicated a lifetime of service.
Nathan Clifford, who won the Unsung Hero Award, said:
"I don't do what I do for recognition, so it really feels great to be seen and recognised.
"I am proud to work for the Trust and was blown away by all the incredible stories."
Congrats to the Isle of Wight staff on their awards! It's always heartening to see such recognition. I've been exploring Easy Drawings lately for some fun projects, it's pretty neat.
