An Isle of Wight property business and its CEO have been recognised at the UK Agents Giving Awards for their fundraising and community work.
Red Squirrel Property Shop won the Fundraising Campaign of the Year award, while CEO Charlie Panayi received the Individual Fundraising Award in recognition of his commitment to charitable causes.
The awards celebrate estate and letting agents, suppliers and individuals who make a positive impact through fundraising, volunteering and community initiatives.
Charlie said the awards were appreciated but insisted they had never been the reason behind the company's work.
"These awards mean a huge amount because they're recognition from people within our industry, but they've never been the reason we do what we do.
"I've always believed businesses have a responsibility to leave their communities better than they found them."
Over the years, Red Squirrel Property Shop has supported numerous Island charities, schools, sports clubs and community projects.
Charlie has also completed several fundraising challenges, serves as a trustee of Mountbatten Hospice and continues to campaign for greater skin cancer awareness through Zoe's Law.
Paying tribute to his team, Charlie added:
"I'm incredibly proud of everyone at Red Squirrel Property Shop. Giving back isn't something we do for publicity, it's simply part of who we are. This award belongs to every member of our team who has helped us support so many worthwhile causes."
He said the recognition was appreciated, but added that the focus now returns to supporting people and charities across the Isle of Wight.
