Isle Of Wight Foodbank Volunteers Taking On Tesco Charity Bike Ride

Volunteers from the Isle of Wight Foodbank are set to take on a sponsored charity bike ride later this month to help support Islanders facing hunger.

The event, being held in partnership with Tesco, will see cyclists travel from Tesco in Ryde to Tesco in Freshwater — a journey of 19.3 miles across the Isle of Wight.

The ride takes place on Thursday 21 May 2026 as part of Tesco’s ‘Tour de Tesco’ charity initiative.

Organisers say every donation will help support people across the Island who are struggling with food poverty and rising living costs.

A fundraising page has now been launched, with supporters invited to donate to help the cause.
