Simplex Accounting, the multi-award-winning firm founded on the Isle of Wight, has been shortlisted for the 2025 Xero Client Champion of the Year Award at the national Xero Awards in London.

This marks the second time the Island-based firm has been recognised nationally by Xero, following its 2022 win for Sole Practitioner of the Year.

Founded in 2019, Simplex is a fully online accounting firm helping businesses across the UK — from construction companies to creative agencies — simplify their finances.

The firm prides itself on being people-focused, making accounting accessible, and ensuring clients feel confident in their financial decisions.

Lucy Johnson, founder of Simplex, said:

“Being shortlisted for Client Champion is an achievement in itself. Accounting is about the people behind the numbers.
"Every client has their own goals and challenges, and our role is to make the financial side simpler so they can focus on growing their business.
"To be recognised by Xero at this level shows that we are making a real difference.”

The Xero Awards celebrate excellence among accounting and bookkeeping firms nationwide, with the Client Champion category recognising innovation, client care, and dedication to helping businesses thrive.

Lucy added:

“We are incredibly proud to represent the Isle of Wight on a national stage.
"This achievement belongs to every business we support, and it motivates us to keep pushing forward.”
