The Old Fort in Seaview, has been crowned Isle of Wight County Winner at the prestigious 2025 National Pub & Bar Awards - for the second consecutive year.
Held last night at Big Penny Social in London, the awards celebrate the very best in hospitality across the UK. The Old Fort’s repeat victory recognises its consistent excellence in atmosphere, service, food and drink quality, and guest experience—placing it firmly among the South Coast’s standout hospitality destinations.
This accolade reaffirms its status as a beloved seaside venue and places The Old Fort at the forefront of hospitality excellence on the Isle of Wight.
This marks a back-to-back victory after The Old Fort also took the 2024 Isle of Wight County title, reinforcing The Old Fort’s reputation as one of the south coast’s premier pub destinations.
The National Pub & Bar Awards shine a spotlight on venues that go above and beyond in service, atmosphere, quality and guest experience. In 2025, 94 County Winners were selected from nearly 300 shortlisted pubs across the UK.
The Old Fort has fast become one of the south coast’s standout destinations, known for its warm welcome, panoramic views of the Solent, and commitment to local, seasonal produce.
