Investigation Launched Into Alleged Rape At Northwood Barn Dance

Police on the Isle of Wight have launched a probe into the alleged rape of a woman.


Multiple police resources were sent to the County Showground site in Northwood last night (Saturday), following a report that a woman in her 20s had been attacked at a Barn Dance event.


Officers have confirmed that a 24 year old man from Kent has been arrested on suspicion of rape and remains in custody.
