Sandown-based software firm ICRTouch has donated 1,200 items to the Isle of Wight Foodbank as part of its annual Reverse Advent Calendar appeal.

It’s the second year the company has supported the initiative, which encourages people throughout November to donate items from a Foodbank list.

These are then made into Christmas goodie bags, handed out alongside essential food parcels in December.

After seeing the impact of last year’s contribution, ICRTouch has more than doubled its support — creating 50 festive bags, each containing 24 items.

Foodbank manager Kay Lewis said:

“On behalf of us all at the Isle of Wight Foodbank, a massive thank you to our friends at ICRTouch for stepping up in such a significant way this Christmas.
"Their donation means we can bring warmth and joy to 50 local households.
"We aim to make just over 300 Christmas bags each year through our Reverse Advent Project, and this is an amazing boost towards reaching that figure.”

ICRTouch says it remains committed to supporting Island charities and community groups into 2026 and beyond.

CEO Colin Ringer added:

“We’re really proud to support the IW Foodbank for another year.
"The work the team and volunteers do is fantastic, and we’re delighted to help provide a few festive treats — and hopefully a smile or two — to those most in need this Christmas.”
