ICRTouch has announced it will continue supporting Sophie’s Legacy for a second year, helping to bring comfort to children and families in hospital across the Island.

Sophie’s Legacy, created in memory of Sophie Fairfall who lost her battle with cancer in 2021, works to improve the hospital experience for young patients and their families.

The charity provides food, snacks, sanitary products, play equipment, and even play specialists where possible, helping families cope with long stays in hospitals along the south coast.

ICRTouch has donated £1,440 to fund monthly deliveries of pizzas from local restaurants to St Mary’s Hospital in Newport throughout 2026, supporting families in the SCBU and Children’s Ward as part of the charity’s popular Saturday Suppers initiative.

Colin Ringer, CEO of ICRTouch, said:

“We’re incredibly proud to continue our support of the amazing work Sophie’s Legacy carries out.
"Their efforts make such a difference, and we’re delighted to help bring a smile to families’ faces during difficult times.”

ICRTouch team members recently visited St Mary’s Hospital on 7th February and 7th March to help hand out pizzas and spread a little extra cheer with Cadbury’s Easter eggs.

Charlotte Fairfall, founder of Sophie’s Legacy, said:

“We are incredibly grateful to ICRTouch for sponsoring and delivering pizzas every month to the children’s wards.
"Their support brings smiles, comfort, and a sense of normality to families during some of their toughest moments.
"Acts of kindness like this genuinely make a difference, and we’re so thankful to have ICRTouch as part of the Sophie’s Legacy community.”
