Freshwater Road To Close For Improvement Work

Tennyson Road in Freshwater will close to through traffic from Monday, October 12, while Island Roads carries out major improvement work.

The work will address underlying ground problems which have caused the road surface to deteriorate.

The road is due to reopen on October 23, with weekend openings planned from Friday evening to Monday morning where it is safe to do so.

Access to properties will be maintained where possible, while Freshwater Fire Station will remain accessible throughout.

A temporary one-way system will also operate on part of the High Street.
