Final Call For Freshwater Skatepark Fundraiser Auction Event

Organisers of the Freshwater Skatepark and Pump Track fundraiser have thanked Isle of Wight Radio listeners for their support, as the Skate Deck Art Auction approaches its final stage.
The initiative has already raised nearly £5,000, with bidding set to close during a special celebration event next week.
The final auction event will take place on:
📅 Saturday 9th May 2026
🕡 6:30pm – 8:30pm (auction closes at 8pm)
📍 Royal Solent Yacht Club, Yarmouth
The evening will feature a live auction atmosphere, with an auctioneer driving bids right up to the final moments, alongside additional items available on the night.
Guests can also enjoy a welcome drink, canapés, and music from a live DJ.
Due to limited capacity, the event is ticket-only, and those wishing to attend are encouraged to reserve in advance.
