Blue Light Fight Night Returns To The Isle Of Wight

A charity boxing event bringing together the emergency and prison services is returning to the Isle of Wight.

Blue Light Fight Night will take place at GG’s Bar & Restaurant on Saturday, 7th November, with firefighters and police officers forming one team to take on HMP Isle of Wight.

The event is being staged several years after the previous Blue Light Fight Night, with fighters from each service now training ahead of the competition.

Money raised will go towards two Island charities — Kissy Puppy and The Wight Brainy Bunch.

Blue Line Security is sponsoring the event, with Phoenix Boxing Club, Ryde Amateur Boxing Club and the Hiit Centre helping prepare the fighters.

Doors open at 6.30pm, with the first bout due to start at 7.30pm.

Tickets cost £25 for general admission, including the booking fee, while VIP ringside tables for ten cost £600, including booking fee and table service.

The event is for over-18s only.
