Red Funnel has opened entries for the 2026 Red Funnel Isle of Wight Awards, celebrating the Island’s best businesses that make it a unique place to live and visit.
This year’s awards feature 19 categories across four main sections: Places to Eat, Places to Stay, Things to Do, and the much-loved Isle of Woof Award, recognising dog-friendly businesses that go the extra mile for four-legged visitors.
Businesses can enter up to two categories, with entries open now at www.redfunnel.co.uk/awards.
The deadline for submissions is 31 March 2026.
Eligible entries will then go to a public vote, with an independent judging panel selecting Gold, Silver, and Bronze winners from the top three public choices in each category.
Fran Collins, CEO of Red Funnel, said:
“I often get asked what makes the Isle of Wight so special.
"For me, it’s the incredible independent businesses that bring the Island to life.
"These awards are our chance to celebrate the passion and creativity that make this Island such a joy to explore.”
Winners will be invited to the annual awards ceremony in November to celebrate their contribution to the Island’s vibrant community.

I'm thrilled to see the entries open for the 2026 Red Funnel Isle of Wight Awards! Having been involved in community initiatives myself, I know how impactful these recognitions can be. It reminds me of my experience organizing a local charity event—much like creating a great Slope game experience, it's all about teamwork and creativity. I can't wait to see what innovative projects will come out of this year's awards!
While playing Block Blast late at night, I caught myself rearranging pieces in my head before they even appeared. It felt like my brain had synced with the game.
