Household waste and recycling collections across the Isle of Wight will continue as normal over the Easter weekend, including Good Friday and Easter Monday, with no changes to scheduled services.
Recycling centres will remain open, but advance booking is required to help manage traffic and keep sites running efficiently.
Bulky waste and reuse collections will also operate as usual.
Residents are being encouraged to reduce waste over Easter, as around 90 million Easter eggs are consumed in the UK each year, creating an estimated 8,000 tonnes of packaging.
Tips for a greener Easter include recycling packaging correctly, choosing products with less plastic, reusing decorations, and composting food waste where possible.
