Driver Injured After Car Crashes Into Parked Van in Binstead

Emergency services were called to a residential street in Binstead during the early hours of this morning (Wednesday) after a car collided with a parked van.

Police and paramedics attended Hillrise Avenue at around 4.45am, following reports of a two-vehicle collision.

Officers discovered that a car had struck the front offside corner of a white Ford Transit van, which was parked on the road.

The Isle of Wight Ambulance Service treated the driver of the car at the scene for minor injuries.

The vehicle was later recovered, and the road was fully reopened by 6am.
