Driver Arrested On Suspicion Of Drink-Driving After BMW Collides With Parked Car In Shanklin

A 27-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving after a BMW collided with a parked car in Shanklin early this morning.
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary said they were called at 12.20am to Sandown Road.
Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident.
The driver remains in police custody while investigations continue.
A statement issued by Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary confirmed:
"We were called at 12.20am with reports of a collision in Sandown Road, Shanklin.
"A BMW collided with a parked car.
"No injuries were reported.
"The driver of the BMW - a 27-year-old man - was arrested on suspicion of drink driving and remains in custody at this time."
