Friends, teammates and colleagues are coming together this weekend to celebrate the life of Tristan Price, with a special memorial rugby match and family fun day at the Ventnor Rugby Grounds on Sunday (19th April).
Tristan, affectionately known as “Beast”, was a valued member of Ventnor RFC and a well-respected door supervisor working for Executive Command.
Known for his strength, loyalty, and larger-than-life presence, Tristan recently passed away in a devastating car accident.
In a powerful tribute, Tristan’s colleagues from Executive Command, many of whom are new to rugby, have been training and learning the game in recent weeks.
On Sunday 19th April, they will take to the field to face Tristan’s own team, Ventnor RFC, in a friendly but meaningful match played in his honour.
Executive Command and Ventnor RFC invite the community to come and support this unique event, with kick-off at 2pm and a donation on entry.
All proceeds will go towards supporting Tristan’s family, with organisers aiming to help the official GoFundMe campaign reach its £20,000 target.
A BBQ, raffle, and bouncy castle will also be part of the day, making it a family-friendly event for all ages.
