CCTV Image Released Following Two Shoplifting Incidents In Newport

Police have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to following two shoplifting incidents at the Morrisons store in Newport.
The first incident took place on Tuesday 27th January between 4.45pm and 4.50pm.
A man entered the supermarket, selected fresh meat items and left the store without paying.
The second incident occurred on Tuesday 10th February between 3.20pm and 3.25pm.
On this occasion, the same man is reported to have picked up a crate of beer before leaving without making payment.
Following enquiries, Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary has now shared an image of a man seen in the area at the time, who officers believe may be able to assist with their investigation.
He is described as white, of medium build, and wearing a dark-coloured coat, a beanie hat under a hooded top, and grey tracksuit bottoms.
Anyone who recognises the man, or who was in the area at the time and saw anything suspicious, is asked to call 101 quoting reference 44260047451.
Police are also keen to hear from anyone with relevant CCTV, dashcam, mobile phone or doorbell camera footage.
